Tristain Hoath Wins the 2023 Magnús Ver Magnússon Strongman Classic
Canada is triumphant again! The 2023 Magnús Ver Magnússon Strongman Classic (MVMSC) took place on Oct. 10-12, 2023, in Reykjavik, Icland. Tristain Hoath of Canada emerged victorious, scoring 85 of a possible 96 points. The defending champion, Rongo Keene of Australia, finished as the runner-up with 80 points.
The nine contested events in Reykjavik were the Bag Over Bar, Stone Press Medley, Stone-to-Shoulder, Mjolnir Front Hold, Husafell Stone Carry, Stone Farmer’s Walk, Hand-Over-Hand Hoist, Deadlift, and Viking Log Medley. Below are the full results:
