Dr. Rafael Santonja, President of the IFBB, met in Ajman with His Highness Sheikh Abdulaziz, Chief of the Ajman Tourism Department, and Mr. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development. Accompanied by Sheikh Abdullah, President of the Emirates Federation, Dr. Adel Fahim, IFBB Vice President and Executive Assistant, as well as a large group of officials from the Emirates Federation.
During the meeting, a press conference was held to mark the signing of contracts for the 2025 Asian Championship, scheduled for mid-June in Ajman, and for the 2026 Men’s and Women’s World Championships.
The United Arab Emirates is a global hub with one of the world’s busiest airports and offers visa facilities.
The event authorities in Ajman show great enthusiasm for sports, and there is an excellent collaborative spirit between the Emirate and the International Federation, with the support of the UAE National Federation, to ensure these events are memorable and set new records in the history of our sport.
