The St. Louis Blues beat the Boston Bruins 4-1 last night to win the Stanley Cup. This was their first time winning the Stanley Cup. Forward Ryan O'Reilly won the Conn Smythe Trophy, awarded to the most valuable player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He had 8 goals and 23 points.

Bruins Win Stanley Cup Opener
The Boston Bruins beat the St. Louis Blues 4-1 in the first game of the Stanley Cup last night. The Blues took a 2-0 lead early in the second period, but the Bruins tied it in the second and scored two more in the third to close it out. Game two will be Wednesday night.
