Agata Sitko (69KG) Scores 3 IPF World Records at 2025 Sheffield Powerlifting Championships

The 2025 Sheffield Powerlifting Championships was a mayhem of International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) World Records. A staggering 23 records were achieved across the 24-athlete field.

Three of those 23 records were achieved by champion Agata Sitko of Poland, who successfully defended her Sheffield title by scoring new IPF world records in the bench press, deadlift, and total.

Sitko, who holds records in three division weight categories, competed at 68.41 kilograms. At Sheffield, athletes were ranked by the percentage of the world record they achieved in their respective weight classes.

Sitko set the IPF world record for the Women’s 69KG class at 600 kilograms in the 2024 Sheffield competitionIn 2025, she locked out a 628-kilogram total—an increase of 4.67%.

2025 Sheffield Championships Results — Agata Sitko, 69KG

Sitko eclipsed the previous IPF world record bench press, which she held, by two kilograms on her second attempt. She tagged an additional two kilograms onto the previous world record on her third attempt.

Sitko’s opening deadlift attempt chipped the previous IPF world record, which she held, by a half-kilogram. Her second attempt demolished that by 11 additional kilos.

Sitko’s performance earned her the top prize purse of £25,000.
