2024 HYROX Houston Results — Kristi O’Connell Wins In Her Debut
The 2024 HYROX Houston race occurred on March 16, 2024, and featured former elite CrossFit Games competitor Kristi O’Connell running in her HYROX Pro debut. The CrossFitter-turned-hybrid athlete scored gold with a time of 1:04:37 — more than three minutes faster than runner-up Lauren Rantala.
Joe Kilmer stood atop the podium in the HYROX Pro Men’s division, narrowly missing the sub-one-hour time by nine seconds. While the top 16 of the HYROX Pro Women’s division featured athletes representing the USA, the HYROX Pro Men’s podium featured Robin Persegol of France in the bronze position.

O’Connell posted about her debut HYROX experience on her Instagram page. As an elite CrossFit Games competitor previously, it was expected that O’Connell would post stellar results in Houston. She exceeded those expectations via a dominant win.

The other HYROX Pro race on the same weekend occurred in Karlsruhe, Germany, on March 16, 2024. Sabrina Hahn and Christof Brenner won it for the respective HYROX Pro divisions.
