2025 Britain’s Strongest Man Roster & Events Revealed
The 2025 Britain’s Strongest Man (BSM) contest will be held in Sheffield, England, on Feb. 1, 2025. It is part of the Giants Live competition circuit and will feature 12 athletes representing four countries.
Those athletes will compete in five events in the single-day contest. The roster and events are below.

The most notable exclusion from the 2025 BSM roster is the absence of three-time World’s Strongest Man (WSM) champion Tom Stoltman, who chose not to defend his BSM title after adjusting his competition schedule going forward to focus primarily on major international contests like the 2025 Arnold Strongman Classic and the 2025 WSM competition.

- Sandbag Steeplechase
- Deadlift Ladder
- Duck Walk & Farmer’s Walk Medley
- Log Lift
- Atlas Stones
The weights for each event were not revealed at the time of this article’s publication. Additionally, the details for number of implements for the Sandbag Steeplechase, Deadlift Ladder, and Atlas Stones were not released.
Historically, the Sandbag Steeplechase has featured three to five implements of scaling weight. Similarly, the Deadlift Ladder is often four barbells of ascending weight performed for time. Atlas Stones contests are often five to six implement one-on-one races to close the competition.
Whoever triumphs in Sheffield will likely punch their ticket to the qualifying stage of the 2025 WSM competition in Sacramento, CA, on the week of May 18, 2025. They might dodge Tom Stoltman in England but will not be able to avoid him in California.
