The 2024 Musclecontest Austria Pro was held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, in Schwechat, Austria. Promoter Tamer El Guindy hosted a Classic Physique contest featuring 10 competitors representing eight nations.
Paul Kanu was awarded first place and a 2025 Classic Physique Olympia qualification. Jaime Vergara won silver, and Lorenzo Faggi earned bronze.

Winner — Paul Kanu
Kanu and Vergara looked impressive in this contest, but the judges unanimously gave the nod to Kanu. This is Kanu’s first win and Olympia qualification in the pro ranks. He was in better condition here than at the 2024 Dubai Pro, where he ranked 13th.
Second Place — Jaime Vergara
Vergara ranked third at the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix Pro and was considered a favorite going into this show. This is the closest he has come to scoring his first pro victory. He will have until Sept. 14, 2025, to win a pro show to advance to the 2025 Olympia.
Third Place — Lorenzo Faggi
Before this show, Faggi ranked ninth at the 2024 Everest Muscle Games. The Austria Pro was his second show in the pro ranks. He proved adaptable to make positive improvements from one show to the next and could be a contender in future 2025 season shows.
Other Notes
There was a second 2025 Classic Physique Olympia qualifier at the 2024 Huanji China Beijing Pro in Beijing, China. Kai Liu won that show and will also compete in the 2025 Olympia.
There are two 2025 Classic Physique Olympia qualifying shows on the final weekend of the 2024 contest season. The Sheru Classic Mumbai Pro and Taiwan Pro Finale will be held on the weekend of Dec. 20-22, 2024.
