2023 WRPF Femme Fatale Best Lifter Awards

The best lifter award is based on their DOTS score — a ratio of a lifter’s body weight to their lifts to compare athletes in different weight classes.

Open — Chloe Esperence

Chloe Esperence competed in the Junior and Open categories as an 83.5-kilogram lifter. Thanks to her 428.76 DOTS score, she won the Best Lifter award. If she continues to compete, she has a bright future in the sport. Her best lifts for the weekend are below.

Submaster — Sarah McKee

With a DOTS score of 288.74, Sarah McKee was determined to be the best lifter out of all Submaster competitors. She went nine for nine on the day, and she took the win in both Submaster and Open for the 100-kilogram weight class.

Master — Christine Gillespie

The only miss that Christine Gillespie had on her day was her third bench press attempt of 107.5 kilograms (237 pounds). Her 382.52 Dots score was good enough to take the title of Best Masters Lifter. According to Open Powerlifting, this was her sixth meet in two years of competing. She set personal records in the squat and bench press.
