Classic Physique Winner — Courage Opara
Opara made his 2023 season debut at this contest, scoring the win and Olympia qualification. He qualified for the 2022 Olympia via two pro wins that year, but did not compete in the 2022 Olympia. The last time he was on his division’s biggest stage was 2021, when he ranked 15th overall.
Kellen Wilson of Canada finished as the runner-up — his best placing in his two-year pro career. Oshanda Rhoden rounded out the top three was Oshanda Rhoden in his professional debut.
Men’s Physique Winner — Charjo Grant
It only took the pre-judging round for the judges to determine that Grant was the best athlete in this lineup. Grant won his first show in four tries this season to qualify for the 2023 Men’s Physique Olympia. He’ll aim to improve upon his fourth-place finish in 2022.
Clarence McSpadden Jr. ranked second, looking impressive in this contest. Grant’s experience and muscle density couldn’t be matched, though. Michael Mayers scored the bronze, taking his highest finish in three shows this season.
Figure Winner — Nicole Zenobia Graham
Nicole Zenobia Graham was coming off a runner-up finish at the 2023 Sasquatch Pro. Many felt it would be a matter of time before she snagged an Olympia qualification and she did that here with a perfect score from the judges. Rhea Gayle and Ashley Howells looked great onstage, but Graham’s width and symmetry were too much to overcome.
Bikini Division Winner — Jourdanne Lee
Each of these four contests had early favorites; the Bikini division’s was Jourdanne Lee, who made her 2023 season debut here after an 11th-place finish at the 2022 Bikini Olympia. Lee scored all first-place votes to take the eighth win of her pro career.
Iulia Baba of Romania finished as the runner-up; her best placing in four contests this season. Rookie Ndeye Ndour continues to impress fans, but has yet to find the winner’s circle. She has two weeks left to earn that win a pro show before the Olympia cutoff date on Oct. 9, 2023.
