Men’s Physique Athletes to Watch

Below are some of the top contenders in the Men’s Physique division:

Mehdi Kabbadj

Mehdi Kabbadj is coming off a second-place finish at the 2023 Hurricane Pro. He is amidst his prep for the 2023 Men’s Physique Olympia in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 2-5, 2023. If he wins in Sao Paulo, he could take an extended offseason to prepare for the 2024 edition.

Rafael Oliveira

Rafael Oliveira is also in preparation for the 2023 Olympia. Oliveira qualified by winning his pro debut at the 2023 Musclecontest International Goiania Pro. To win in Sao Paulo and earn two Olympia qualifications in his first pro year would be quite an accomplishment.

Guilherme dos Santos Gualberto

Guilherme dos Santos Gualberto is a rookie who showed a lot of potential when he finished second to Oliveira in that Goiania Pro. This is his first show of the 2024 qualifying season.

Figure Athletes to Watch

Below are the Figure competitors likely to reach the first callout:

Adela Ondrejovicova

2023 Figure Olympia competitor Adela Ondrejovicova would like to bag her 2024 qualification before competing in Orlando. She last competed in the 2023 Hurricane Pro and finished in third place.

Kamilla Santos Alencastro

Kamilla Santos Alencastro was last onstage in her pro debut at the 2023 Pharlabs Sur Pro Cup Colombia pro show, finishing as the runner-up to Jossie Alarcon. It would be a significant acknowledgment of Alencastro’s improvements if she stands in a first callout with Ondrejovicova.

Michele Da Silva Pinto

The 2022 champion of this contest is back to defend her title. This will be Michele Da Silva Pinto’s 2023 debut. Her last victory on this stage is her lone pro win to date.
