2023 IWF Junior World Weightlifting Championships Full Results
Fans of weightlifting have been spoiled rotten in 2023. The International Weightlifting Federation’s (IWF) event calendar has featured prominent competitions on a near-monthly basis from January to November.
The IWF’s Junior World Weightlifting Championships (JWWC), which ran in Guadalajara, Mexico from Nov. 15 to 23, was a sneak peek at some of the brightest young stars in the sport.

What’s Next for Weightlifting?
There’s still more top-notch Olympic lifting on the docket for 2023. Beginning on Dec. 4, 2023 in Doha, Qatar, will be the IWF Grand Prix II. The 2nd Prix event of the year is a Paris 2024 qualification event. Expect to see the best in the world turn up to perform with less than a year to go until the next Olympics.
