The 2023 Ashoor Classic bodybuilding show is slated for Friday, Sept. 15, 2023 in Tripoli, Libya. The show will feature two IFBB Pro League contests — Classic Physique and Men’s Physique. The winners of both shows will qualify for the 2023 Olympia Weekend in Orlando, FL on Nov. 2-5, 2023. This is one of the smaller shows on the circuit, but it can be a great opportunity for a competitor to move on to the Olympia.

Classic Physique Athletes to Watch
Below, you’ll find both athletes from Classic Physique — worthy competitors even in a small pool:
Krimo Ammari
Krimo Ammari is one of the two Classic Physique competitors in this show, and he’s already competed three times in 2023. He was third in two of those shows, the Chicago Pro and Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro. He was also 16th in the Tampa Pro. The second-year pro has yet to earn a pro win, and this is as good of a chance as he will have this season.
Masoud Harouni
According to NPC News Online, Masoud Harouni has only been in one show since 2020. He was seventh in the Romania Muscle Fest Pro that year. There has been no public reason for his three-year absence from the stage, but he will make his return at this show.
Men’s Physique Athletes to Watch
Here are the top competitors aiming to earn their way to the Olympia in Men’s Physique:
Mahmut Alan
The Men’s Physique lineup will feature seven competitors, including Mahmut Alan, who has already competed twice this season. He was sixth at the Pacific USA Pro and Phoenix Pro shows. He is in his second year as a pro.

Khalid Ahmed Shewaiter
Khalid Ahmed Shewaiter is a rookie out of Qatar. He is coming off a 15th-place finish in the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro, which was his pro debut. In a lineup of this size, he could stand out and make a bigger impact on the judges. He had close to one week to make adjustments to his prep, and those rookie nerves may be out of his system now.
Hachemi Hemza
This will be Hachemi Hemza’s 2023 season debut. He last competed in the 2022 Mexico Grand Battle Pro, where he finished in seventh place. The highest he has finished in a pro show is second at the 2019 Musclecontest Brazil Pro.
